Preparatory Level - Piano Course for Christians

This excellent course for beginning piano students with a complete foundation in music. Christian values and concepts emphasized through out. Starts by explaining the keyboard, musical staff, how to read note and count simple rhythms. Covers other basic beginning techniques with both hands staying in the 5-finger hand position at middle C. The songs used are familiar hymns or songs of a Christian nature. Includes a lesson plan as a suggested guide to help tutor the student, notes to parents on how to tutor, encourage practice and assess progress. 2 CDs give further explanations and demonstrate how each lesson should sound.
